By selecting a consultation service provided via audio or video call through WhatsApp, the patient confirms that they knowingly and voluntarily consent to the use of the aforementioned third-party communication platform as a communication channel, as well as to the processing of related personal data to the extent strictly necessary for the provision of healthcare services, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

The Clinic uses WhatsApp exclusively as a means of audio and video communication. The transmission of medical information, documents, images, or any other information containing health data, as well as written communication via WhatsApp, does not take place. For these purposes, a separate secure medical information system is used.

First appointment with a psychiatrist (up to 30 min)

Taking into account previously received information, the video-consultation will include a thorough assessment of mental status, an ICD-10 based diagnosis and treatment in accordance with international treatment guidelines. Thanks to the use of DocuMental technology in diagnosis and treatment decisions, our doctors have enough time to focus on communicating with You and answering Your questions. The result of the appointment will be thoroughly documented, and, with Your consent, will be uploaded to Your personal digilugu.ee account.

Follow-up appointment with a psychiatrist (20 min)

During the follow-up video-consultation, Your doctor will monitor the changes in Your condition following the treatment, carry out an additional assessment of your mental health status and adjust the treatment if necessary. In a supportive conversation, doctor will provide helpful advice for a better treatment outcome and answer any questions You may have.

Prescription renewal

Only for Clinic’s clients.

Please note that our doctors extend prescriptions for sleeping aids and sedatives only in accordance with the treatment regimen prescribed by them and the applicable regulations. Any requests to issue or renew prescriptions for sleeping aids or sedatives that do not comply with the established treatment regimen and regulations will not be fulfilled by our doctors. Therefore, we kindly ask you not to order this service in such cases, as the service fee is non-refundable.

Please note that our doctors do not provide consultations outside of scheduled appointments by email or by phone. For questions related to health conditions or treatment, please book an appointment with your doctor via our website.

Consultation Booking and Cancellation Terms

The specialists of DocuMentalCare Clinic are committed to providing medical services as promptly as possible. Please read these booking terms carefully before making a consultation booking.

By making a booking and paying for the consultation, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

When a consultation is booked, an individual appointment time with the medical specialist is reserved exclusively for the Client.

If the consultation is cancelled no later than 5 working days before the scheduled appointment, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.

The remaining amount is retained to cover the Clinic’s costs associated with arranging and fulfilling the consultation booking.

If the consultation is cancelled less than 5 working days before the scheduled appointment, the amount paid is non-refundable in accordance with these Booking Terms accepted by the Client at the time of booking.

For the purposes of calculating the notice period, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in the Republic of Estonia are not counted as working days.

Rescheduling

Due to the high demand for appointments, consultations may be rescheduled at the Client’s request only if the Clinic is notified no later than 5 working days before the scheduled appointment.

Rescheduling is subject to the availability of the medical specialist.

If a request to reschedule is received less than 5 working days before the scheduled appointment, the consultation will not be rescheduled.

At its sole discretion, the Clinic may offer the Client an alternative appointment date where availability permits. Such an offer is made at the Clinic’s discretion and does not constitute an obligation.

Final Provisions

These Terms form an integral part of the agreement between the Client and the Clinic and become effective upon confirmation of the booking and payment for the consultation.
